FISD will host our Annual Thanksgiving Lunch for Elementary students on 11/20/25. Please be sure you RSVP to the lunch on the note sent home from the cafeteria so we will have an accurate count of food for the day. If you did not receive a note, please let the front office know and we will get you one. We do ask that you limit to 4 visitors per family, this will ensure we have enough room for all visitors! We are looking forward to celebrating with our Polar Bear families!

We want to remind you of the importance of regular school attendance. Being present every day helps students stay on track academically, build strong habits, and fully participate in classroom activities. Please remember that students must be in school 90% of the school year to receive credit for the course. A school related extra-curricular absence does not count against your student. An excused absence, however, does count within their 90% required time. An excused absence is still an absence, however, students are allowed to make up work when an absence is excused. Please see the parent email sent recently with more details on attendance and make sure you are aware of the possible repercussions if your child is not within the 90% required time for the school year. If you have questions, please reach out to the office. Thank you for supporting your child being at school on time each day and present!
